Back in the stone ages before Pinterest when people bought magazines for decorating ideas I'd torn this picture out because I thought it was such a neat idea. There are now tons of these walls in different variations in blog & Pinterest land but I think this is still on of my favorites. I think it's the stripped Z. I've been leisurely collecting letters for Reid's room for probably close to a year. When I get close to the end I may look at Hobby Lobby or JoAnns and fill in what I'm missing but for now it's just the thrill of the find. Several people know I'm collecting so I get text saying "hey do you need a M?" That's what friends are for, right?!? :)

I'm gonna paint some, put scrapbook paper over some, etc.
UPDATE: I found a K & P for $1 each!
I've now spent $3.64
love it. i really want to do it too. i just can't decide between Jude's room, the playroom or Jack and Jovie's shared room. i need to start collecting!

ReplyDeleteHow fun! I've seen those before, too. If we ever have a playroom, I think I will do something like that. I'll be on the lookout for you too. Carolina pottery had really cute weird letters. I can't tell from your pictures if you need a Q, Z or Y? I'll go by tomorrow and text you what they have with a picture. . .
