Monday I tried to get caught up on house stuff. I always feel like I have a zillion loads of laundry to fold on Mondays. I wash it all weekend and throw it in a big pile. I took a short nap while the kids did and then made cupcakes for the NYE party we went to. Reid woke up just in time to test a cupcake. I helped my mom unpack before Christmas & she gave me her stand mixer that she never used. This was my first time to try it out & I loved using it. At the party people were playing Just Dance and Reid loved dancing along.
Tuesday I worked all day. I have to work 2 holidays a year for my position so I went ahead and did one of them. It was pretty much an awful, busy, long day. When I left there was a 5 hour wait time & 34 patients waiting to be seen. That.is.a.long.time.&.lots.of.people.
Today for the first time I took my kids to story time at the library. They read 3 books about hats then got to decorate their own hat. Reid loved it and got to play with new kids. I also met a sweet mom who told me about several other free activities for kids. Reid found Clifford while we were there and had to take his pic with him. I love finding fun things to take Reid & now Grace to. The library just happens to be by Goodwill. :) I grocery shopped on my way home. Just got Grace fed now time to put away groceries & put the babies down to nap!
Miss Nettie does library kids stuff at Chick-fil-a some evenings, not exactly sure of the schedule but you might ask if you are interested. So proud of you for taking them to library activities, lots of fun stuff in summer. I have friends whose daughter is 16 and she has never been in a library, makes me sad.
