Sunday was our first service of our new church plant. Job has worked so hard to get things going. A local church is letting us use their building on Sunday nights. It was strange waking up Sunday morning & not going to service that's only happened a handful of times in my life. Our service went really well! I'm excited about our future here. After service we went to the Vaughn's house to eat. Job wrote a blog post about our first service here.
Monday I worked 11-7.
Tuesday morning I took Reid to finish up getting his shots & for Grace to get her 2mth ones. After Rebekah & Max came over for the boys to play. The kids then napped. I tried this new cornbread salad recipe to go with dinner.
Wednesday we got haircuts, ran in Kroger, & I got cleaning done before naps.
Everyone from our church met up at the Stroud's house for dinner.
Today I'm catching up around here. Job took my car for an oil change, washed, & vacuumed it out this morning. Bless that man. I'd much rather you drop in my house unexpected than look in my car. It's generally covered in crumbs, toys, random articles of clothing, cups, & the list goes on. But now it's squeaky clean. ;). Today after dinner we are going to look for some clothes for Job & I. My spring & summer wardrobe is lacking to say the least. I've been pregnant 2 out of 3 past summers. Today Reid pulled up Graces swing beside his chair and told me to put her in it so they could watch "Cliffy Big Dog" together.
Also in the mornings when Job & I make our coffee Reid's requests "hot coffee" (we make him hot chocolate) and he makes us sit at the bar with him so we can have coffee together. :)

My car is the same way, despite every effort to keep it clean. Oh well, another season of life maybe!
ReplyDeleteYour summer is like my past fall. I had to get all new clothes since I'd been preggers the last two! Have fun shopping.
One of your comments made me do a little math, , I haven't gone to regular Sunday morning church for over 36 years, think last time I went was 3 years ago for some of Hayden's senior year activities. Always loved loved loved Sunday School but never like church services. Now I'm a 4 time a year gal for Crowder 5th Sunday community singings.
